Referring to the dental impression provided by our team, the dental lab technicians can form a dental mold to shape the crown. The mold helps technicians visualize the alignment of your teeth, as well as help them to create a second impression made of materials that can withstand a lot of heat.

The temperatures used to create your crown from metal or porcelain can go up to about 2400 °F, using the molten form of the material to shape the restoration. An additional heating period for the crown is used to cure it. After the crown cools, the technicians can release it from the impression and apply a few finishing coats. After thoroughly examining the crown for quality, it is sent to Quality Dental Care to be placed in your smile.
